Volume Two: The Dream

Based on the great success of over 6000 copies of our first volume, The Gift , now in the hands of youth, pro-life groups, church communities, parents and grandparents, we have written the next story in this series, The Dream. Unique to this story is the participation of a grade 12 class offering their real-time insight on how youth would deal with a classmate facing a life-altering decision.

Presently, all materials on MAiD (medical assistance in dying) target adults, in particular suffering adults, or it falls into the domain of policy education. The next generation needs to be exposed to this difficult topic in a way that they can comprehend it and discuss it intelligently. This will be a resource so that teachers, parents, and youth leaders can easily enter into this topic.

The Dream deals with two best friends and their classmates. Steve, facing a life in a wheelchair after a car accident, has been offered MAiD when he turns 18 in a few months. How would youth react? 

What can we say to one another? How do we know what is the right choice? How can they help Steve? 

This is a cutting-edge resource is singularly unique among all life-affirming resources in Canada.
